Terms and conditions

Kash Moments (kashmoments.in) is operated by Kabir Sharad Chandrikapure (“Kash Moments”, “we”, “us”). These terms explain the rules for using Kash Moments. By creating, paying for or opening a surprise, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who can use Kash Moments

  • You must be 18 or older to create a surprise.
  • You don't need an account. There is no sign-up or login.

2. What Kash Moments is

Kash Moments lets you create an interactive digital surprise, such as a birthday surprise, using your own messages, photos and voice note. Here's how it works:

  1. You build your surprise on the site.
  2. You watch a full free preview before paying.
  3. You pay, and receive a private link to share with the person it's for.
  4. The link stays live for 90 days from when the surprise is created. After that, the surprise and everything in it is permanently deleted.

If you set an opening date and time, anyone who opens the link earlier will see a countdown until then.

3. Prices and payment

  • The price of each surprise is shown before you pay. Different surprises may have different prices.
  • You pay once. There is no subscription and no automatic charge.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. By paying, you also agree to Razorpay's terms.
  • Your private link is shown on screen right after payment. Please copy and save it straight away. Since there are no accounts, if you lose it, you can contact us with your payment reference (the UPI transaction ID from your payment app, or the payment ID shown on screen after you paid) and we'll help you find it.

4. No edits after payment

Once you've paid, you can't edit your surprise. Please check your preview carefully, including names, spelling, photos and the opening time, before you pay.

5. Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are covered in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

6. Your content

  • You own everything you add to your surprise: your messages, photos, captions and voice note.
  • By adding them, you give us permission to store them and show them to anyone who opens your link, only so we can deliver your surprise. We don't use them for anything else, including marketing, unless we ask you first and you clearly say yes.
  • You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload, including permission from people who appear in your photos.

7. What's not allowed

You must not use Kash Moments to create or share:

  • Anything illegal
  • Sexually explicit or nude content
  • Anything sexual involving anyone under 18
  • Hateful content targeting someone's religion, caste, gender, race or any other group
  • Harassment, bullying or threats
  • Blackmail, stalking, or anything meant to pressure or scare someone
  • Photos of other people without their consent, especially private or intimate photos
  • Content pretending to be from someone else
  • Copyrighted material you don't own, such as a song or movie clip uploaded as your voice note
  • Scams, spam, or links meant to trick the person who opens it

If we find or are told about a surprise that breaks these rules, we may remove it without a refund, and we may report it to the authorities where the law requires.

8. Our content

The designs, illustrations, animations, music, sounds, text and code on Kash Moments belong to us or are used with permission. You may not copy, sell or reuse them outside your own surprise.

9. Your private link

Your surprise isn't listed, published or searchable. However, anyone who has the link can open it. Keeping the link private is your responsibility, so share it only with the person it's meant for. If it's been shared with the wrong person, contact us and we'll delete the surprise.

10. How the surprise plays

We work hard to make every surprise play smoothly on everyday phones. However, we can't promise that every device, browser or in-app browser (such as the one inside WhatsApp or Instagram) will play every animation or sound perfectly. For the best experience, the person can open the link in their phone's main browser, such as Chrome or Safari.

11. Limits on our responsibility

  • Kash Moments is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it working, but there may be occasional problems or downtime.
  • If something goes wrong with your surprise, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for that surprise.
  • We aren't responsible for how a surprise is received, or for what happens if a link is shared with people it wasn't meant for.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our service changes. We'll change the “Last updated” date at the top. The terms that apply to your surprise are the ones in place when you paid for it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
